Overview
Work is underway on the Hill City Schools Boiler Room Addition, a 600-square-foot expansion to the existing middle school. This project is designed to relocate and upgrade the school's mechanical systems, ensuring long-term operational efficiency and flexibility. The addition is being constructed on a structural thickened slab foundation and features steel stud framing, masonry wainscot, and metal wall panels. Inside, it will house one of the school's existing boilers and a newly installed second unit. The layout and infrastructure have been planned with the future in mind, allowing for a third boiler to be added as the school's needs evolve. This strategic upgrade supports the school district's commitment to reliable, modern facilities for students and staff alike.
