Dean Kurtz Construction is working on installing interior and exterior doors and completing installation of the PVC wall panels. Overhead Door Company is wrapping up installation of the overhead doors, mechanical and electrical working on making the heat system operational, and working toward completion. All trades are working together to prepare for arrival of the car wash units.
DKC crews finishing up installation of the wood doors, windows, and wood trim. Muth Electric is almost complete with installation of the buildings new fire alarm system as well as wrapping up the new dimmable LED lighting system. Horst Acoustical is working on installation of the acoustical wall panel sound boards.

Groundbreaking ceremony for the new Crow Peak Dormitory at Black Hills State University was held Friday February 14, 2014. University officials as well as Board Regents members participated in the event. Construction for the new dormitory project is scheduled to begin in mid-March 2014. This will be the first new resident living facility constructed on the BHSU campus since the mid 1960’s.

These pictures are taken in the Cardio/Weight Room and the Select Equipment Rooms of the newly remodeled Fitness Center on Ellsworth AFB, before all the equipment was moved back in. Renovations included new demo of mercury contaminated athletic flooring, removal of old mirrors and cardio platform. New paint throughout, new glassless mirrors, reconstructed cardio platform w/ 100% recessed power/data distribution, TV wall mounts and new athletic flooring. The select equipment rooms were converted from old racquetball courts. They received all of the above as well as an upgraded HVAC system, sprinkler system, new grid ceiling and wall mounted TV’s.
The new Urgent Care West is on schedule and taking shape with the structural exterior wall framing.
