Industrial construction projects, such as the Mni Wiconi Water Treatment Facility, are welcome
challenges for Dean Kurtz Construction Company. Working with Excavators and draglines, crews laid a forty two inch, one-half mile pipeline in the Missouri River and constructed the facility's intake pump station. The massive water treatment plant itself required 11,000 cubic yards of concrete and the integration of mechanical water processing
equipment. Mni Wiconi is the country's largest rural water project, piping quality water from central to western regions of South Dakota.
